Mu a London based sound and digital artist, creates works that synergise sound and image. The NFT collection released showcases this linking of sound to art. Adept in the art of sound design Mu creates pieces that blend with digital artwork in a way that allows the viewer to connect with the visual and auditory on another multi-sensory level.
This NFT collection combines generative auditory compositions with digital artwork to symbolise aspects of personality, emotional state and character.
The lotus flower (used in the initial offering) signifies purity, wisdom, knowledge, self-regeneration and birth. As a reflection of the human condition, overcoming the trials of the material world to reach enlightenment, the lotus flowers despite its roots being in the dirtiest of waters. In each artwork, the lotus is benignly presided over by the all-seeing eye, observing its creation.
Within the collection, each piece is unique and stands alone, however the generative audio for sets of three (“The Triumvirates”) are from the same generative session. This adds a further unique quality in being able to observe the progression of sound.
There is further symbolism encoded within each of the works, for the viewer to discover.
